After completing my master’s in Life Sciences from JNU, New Delhi, I joined Dr. Nandini Verma’s Laboratory for Ph.D. Here, I am dealing with Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) which is the most aggressive and heterogeneous malignancy of all breast cancers. Chemoresistance and metastasis are the major causes of death in TNBC patients. These chemotherapy-tolerant cells could be targeted by regulating ferroptosis. Hence, my research objective is to understand the role of ferroptosis regulators in conferring drug resistance and metastasis in different subtypes of TNBC
