The main reason for joining the lab is its approach in targeting a research problem. In short, I was impressed with the domain this lab is working on. So, to get most out of it, I got involved in a project which deals with characterisation and functional validation on the gene candidates that imparts resistance to hormonal therapy in ER positive Breast cancer. As for my background, I have bachelor's in pharamacy. I have completed my Master's in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology from NIPER, Mohali. Being chemistry my forte, I wished to venture in life science rather in basic research to broaden my knowledge regarding the subject, especially in the field of oncology.
