DepRanker

Identifying cancer driver gene is a major impediment in cancer research. DepRanker integrates genomics data with gene essentiality results obtained from pooled depletion functional screens based on their Rank Impact Score (RIS). The convergence of multiple genetic evidence limits false positives by adopting a posterior filtering strategy and reduces the burden for multiple hypothesis testing to identify cancer vulnerabilities. Using DepRanker, we identify AURKB and TK1 as essential candidate genes in head and neck cancer.
