Khanolkar Shodhika

Scientist in CRI undertakes multi-pronged investigations into cancer biology, which address basic, and translational research queries using human tumors, experimental animals and cells in culture, with an aim to provide the tools for chemoprevention, early diagnosis, prognosis and therapy. There are 20 Principal Investigators whose research extends from genetic susceptibility to gene therapy in cancers relevant to the Indian subcontinent. This is complemented with basic research in different areas of cancer biology.
