About ISSCB Aim and focus of the Symposium Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC), Tata Memorial Centre since its inception has been involved in encouraging academic interactions between Indian researchers and clinicians, along with international scientists working in the field of cancer health care. ACTREC is privileged to host International Symposium on Stem Cell Biology, January 30, 2012. The symposium will be of relevance to scientists and clinicians: those involved in treatment of cancer, and in discovery and validation of modern technology with specific reference to stem cell biology. In addition, the meeting will stiumlate interaction between the clinicans, basic scientists, government agencies and industry. The meeting will include several sessions on specialised topics by invited speakers. The goal of the symposium is to ensure that the knowledge gained from basic biology is transferred to clinical practice. |
